Maryland Suit Aims To Decertify Diebold Machines
Lawyers representing eight Maryland citizens filed a petition this week with the state supreme court seeking to decertify or fix Diebold voting machines that computer security experts have deemed insecure.
More Voter Intimidation in Florida?
Reports from Florida suggest a disturbing pattern of armed state troopers visiting African-Americans, mostly senior citizens, in their homes. The visits are justified as being part of an "election fraud" investigation. Activists raise concerns about the "chilling effect" such investigations may have on voter participation. Meanwhile, six members of Congress are demanding a Federal investigation into possible civil rights violations.
